Chicago Women in Philanthropy Names Evelyn Diaz 2016 Making a Difference Nominee

January 7, 2016

Chicago Women in Philanthropy (CWIP) has named Heartland Alliance President Evelyn Diaz its 2016 Making a Difference honoree. On March 3, Diaz will receive the award and offer the keynote address at CWIP’s annual luncheon. CWIP has cited Diaz’s service record in Chicago’s public and nonprofit sectors and her commitment to advancing causes that impact the lives of women and girls as reasons for her selection.

“Evelyn represents the true embodiment of CWIP values and ideals. She is a leader, a visionary, and a true champion for women and girls in Chicago,” said CWIP Board Co-Chair Maricar Ramos. “We are thrilled to recognize Evelyn for her many years of public service, and dedication to the complex issues facing individuals and families, with this year’s Making a Difference Award.”
