Heidi Schultheis

Senior Project Manager

Heidi provides technical assistance, customized consultation, and training to communities nationwide as part of our Field Support team. She also develops written resources for the benefit of the field. Her work is at the intersection of homelessness and employment, trying to ensure that communities are maximizing the potential of their public systems and creating ways for those systems to collaborate so that jobseekers experiencing homelessness can connect to good quality jobs and stabilize their lives.

Heidi’s previous work in the sphere of housing policy and anti-poverty policy includes providing direct services to families experiencing homelessness, homeless information database administration, and experience working at a national think-tank in Washington, D.C. on policy matters ranging from nutrition assistance and tax credits to unemployment insurance benefits and housing subsidies.

Heidi works remotely from Los Angeles, where she relocated in 2020 to be closer to her family. She likes cooking and trying new foods, going to the beach, paddle boarding, watching documentaries, and consuming way too much political news because she’s a politics junkie.
