Heartland Alliance employs trauma-informed experts who work to safely and swiftly reunite unaccompanied immigrant children with a safe sponsor or family member.

A federal court has ruled that the failure of ICE officers to consider less restrictive settings before transferring unaccompanied immigrant youth to ICE detention on their 18th birthdays violates U.S. immigration laws.
