Thanks to all who supported Heartland Alliance’s Giving Day on June 20. Together we raised $29,000 in unrestricted funds in honor of World Refugee Day and our critical work to support and uplift refugees and strive toward equity and opportunity for all. We’re so grateful to everyone who made this year’s Giving Day such a tremendous success!
This year’s Heartland Alliance Giving Day celebrated World Refugee Day by uplifting the courage and perseverance of Chicago’s refugee community by highlighting the organization’s work to support this community and to achieve equity and opportunity for all.
This campaign was especially successful thanks to our many supporters, board members and staff, as well as a very generous anonymous matching gift donor. Heartland Alliance’s Associate Board, a dedicated group of young professionals, raised nearly $7,000 through peer-to-peer fundraising efforts. This energetic group of individuals came together for an evening of fun, while raising funds to benefit the work of Heartland Alliance.
