Housing is fundamental. Without the safety and comfort of a place to call home, the barriers to achieving stability and economic well-being become increasingly significant. COVID-19 and ensuing economic crisis have only exacerbated housing instability – with people from vulnerable populations bearing the brunt of the impact.
As part of our fight against poverty, ending homelessness is a critical focus for our organization. Programs from across Heartland Alliance are dedicated specifically to helping people obtain the safety and opportunity afforded by a place to call home. Below, we are celebrating some of those individuals who have recently found that new home – and recognizing the staff and organizational partners who help us achieve equity and opportunity for ALL.
