The YASS Program (Young Adult Supportive Services) serves young people, age 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness in the city of Chicago. We serve each participant according to their individual needs.
The YASS Program is a community-based case management program. The purpose of the program is to support young people experiencing homelessness around issues related to housing, mental health, substance and alcohol use, medical care and employment. We strive to serve all your needs through a trauma informed and harm reduction approach. No matter what you’ve been through or where you’re at, you are able to receive services from us!
The YASS Program provides intensive individualized case management services over the course of 9 months. For these 9 months, a participant will be a part of a team of support with the goal of connecting you to long-term stable housing, employment and other community resources.
YASS is generously funded by the JB and MK Pritzker Family Foundation, the VNA Foundation, and the Cooperative Agreement to Benefit Homeless Individuals (CABHI) a SAMHSA-funded grant initiative.
