A holistic health approach includes oral health; unfortunately, there are barriers that prevent people from accessing oral care. The Oral Health Progress and Equity Network (OPEN) brings together professionals and organizations to make sure that every person has the capabilities to fully access good oral health. Opening doors to those that are committed to social justice and health equity because every person deserves to thrive and an equal chance to succeed.
What is it like being a member of OPEN?
It is a great opportunity to discover, enhance, and develop connections to many professional organizations, and individuals at every level of dental and public health fields: grassroots, grass-middles, and grass-tops. OHF has been an active member of OPEN in a Regional and National capacity, we have found many benefits to creating long-lasting and meaningful connections to other professionals.

- Build a comprehensive national oral health measurement system
- Integrate oral health into person-centered health homes.
