HOPWA Interim Housing (Transitional Housing)

Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) interim housing provides short-term (six months up to a year) housing to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Part of the program is located in Showalter Residence in Oak Park which can house up to four single adults and one family of up to five people. Residents may also live in one of seven scattered-site apartments on the West Side of Chicago or in West Suburban Cook County.
